Linking variables with help parameters

An important feature of LGS 2D is the ability to link variables with dimensional constraints’ parameters and to involve them in various engineering equations and inequalities.

As a logical extension of this functionality LGS 2D supports now linking variables with the help parameters of curve constraints. This, in particular, allows users to control relations between different geometrical objects, tied to the same curve with incidence, tangency and distance constraints.

The example below demonstrates an application of this feature. Two points are tied to curve with distance constraints. Linking help parameters of both constraints to one and the same variable implies their equality. Thus, moving one of the points along the curve causes another point to slide as well. Indeed, line connecting them has to be always perpendicular to the curve.
